This special exhibition focuses on sites located in the basin of the Tadami River, which flows through the Okuaizu region. It displays materials from the late Jomon to middle Yayoi periods (owned by the museum) from the Kowase site in Mishima Town and the Nakaseibu site in Kaneyama Town, which have been excavated in recent years, as well as related materials owned by the towns of Tadami, Kaneyama, Mishima, Yanaizu, and Aizubange, to consider the Jomon and Yayoi periods in the Tadami River basin.
