Leo Lionni and Karel Zeman were born in the same year and flourished in their respective fields. In conjunction with the special exhibition 'Leo Lionni and Friends,' five animated adaptations of Leo Lionni's celebrated picture books, including 'Swimmy,' will be screened. Also featured is a comprehensive screening of representative works from the early to late career of Czech animation/special effects film director Karel Zeman, nicknamed 'the magician of fantasy,' who influenced Steven Spielberg and Hayao Miyazaki. Enjoy alongside the exhibition.
