The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo, located in an area famous for cherry blossoms including the Imperial Palace, Chidorigafuchi, and Kitano Maru Park, holds its annual Museum Spring Festival. The Important Cultural Property, Kawai Gyokudo's "Yuku Haru" (Departing Spring), one of the museum's representative works, is exhibited only during the spring season once a year. In addition, a rest area is set up in the front garden where visitors can enjoy cherry blossom viewing, and drinks and food are available for takeout. During the period, guided tours such as the MOMAT Highlights Tour, where guide staff introduce the highlights of the collection exhibition "MOMAT Collection," and gallery talks introducing several works in English are also held, allowing visitors to appreciate art along with the cherry blossoms.
