The Ishimasa Art Museum houses about 350 works highly praised and collected by Japanese painter Ishimoto Sho as 'genuine works with heart.' Many of these artists are still active in the contemporary Japanese art world and continue to create works. This exhibition showcases approximately 20 recent works by four artists - Ikeshoji Jun, Ikeda Chikako, Tatomeru Yuji, and Yoshikawa Hiroshi - alongside collected works. See, through the works, how these living artists continue to face and challenge themselves and their subjects.
