Uchide no Sakura is a famous cherry blossom spot in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, known as a designated natural monument of Koriyama City. It is a rare variety of weeping cherry that is a mutation of the cherry variety 'Ubahigan.' It has a magnificent bearing of about 19 meters in height and about 3.33 meters in trunk circumference. Said to originate from Kotohira Shrine, it has lived more than 200 years and continues to bloom beautifully. Unlike urban hanami spots, you can carefully appreciate the cherry blossoms in a quiet environment, attracting photography enthusiasts and cherry blossom lovers. Many other famous cherry blossom spots are scattered nearby, so you can also enjoy 'Miharu Taki Zakura,' 'Fukujuji Cherry Blossoms,' and 'Kassenba Weeping Cherry' together.
