GODAC hosts a special event where you can learn and experience the world of the deep sea. The highlight is a science talk and social gathering with Dr. Ken Takai (Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology), known as the 'Deep-Sea Microbe Hunter,' who has conducted submersible surveys aboard the research submarine 'Shinkai 6500' for over 20 years. Science talk participants receive special perks: entry into the Shinkai 6500 cockpit model for commemorative photos and merchandise gifts. The event also features a quiz rally and many other fun educational programs.
