The promenade extends about 5 km along the Kawatanagawa River flowing through Hasami Town, starting from Takabetago (Umetakano) to Yadogo (Jingawabashi). It has a paved running road, with about 300 cherry trees planted in commemoration. In spring, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and you can take walks or jogs while seeing heartwarming scenes such as kingfishers, herons, and spot-billed duck families. It is currently loved by many people both inside and outside the town. Festivals are also held seasonally at Tanokashira Riverside Park and Saizenji Riverside Park.
