Located on a small hill overlooking Kikuchi City, about 3,000 cherry trees including Yoshino and mountain cherries spread across the entire mountain. The Kangetsuro Observation Spot is a scenic location where you can overlook the cherry blossoms of Kikuchi Park and the city of Kikuchi. During the blooming season, lanterns light up the area at night, allowing you to enjoy night cherry blossoms with a different atmosphere from daytime. Also, a red carpet is laid out along the approach to Kikuchi Shrine, and the contrast between the red carpet and the cherry blossoms creates a unique atmosphere to enjoy. The 'Kikuchi Sakura Marathon 2026' and 'Kikuchi Sakura Marathon Marche' will be held on March 22 (Sun), 2026, and the 'Kikuchi Sakura Marche' on March 29 (Sun).
