At Kawachi Water and Greenery Fureai Park, during the period from March 21 (Sat) to April 5 (Sun), 2026, when cherry blossoms reach their peak, the 2nd 'Kawachi Cherry Blossom Festival' will be held. The park is familiar for 'Kawachi Illumination' held in winter, but in spring, 50 cherry trees on the north side of the park are illuminated and decorated. As a 'fantastic space of cherry blossoms and lights,' during the day the vivid colors of the cherry blossoms, and at night the fantastic space created by the play of light and shadow with illumination, allow you to enjoy different expressions of cherry blossoms throughout the day. Illumination is held daily from 18:30 to 21:30 during the cherry blossom festival, and food trucks also open (planned sales time: 11:00 to 21:30).
