About 10,000 cherry trees blending into the scenery of the Sayama Hills. With the largest number of cherry trees in the city, this is a famous cherry blossom spot in Tokorozawa that attracts many flower viewers from inside and outside the prefecture during full bloom. In early April, about 10,000 cherry trees including Somei Yoshino, Oshima cherry, and mountain cherry bloom in glory. The view of cherry blossoms in full bloom from the 700m-long embankment is overwhelming. The cherry blossoms at Lake Sayama tend to bloom later than other areas in the city due to higher elevation, making it a spot that can be enjoyed for a relatively long time.
