The main hall, said to have been built in the Sengoku period, is a magnificent building with eight-roofed construction. The Senju Kannon is enshrined in the main hall. The Edo Higan cherry here is an old tree over 350 years old, planted just to the right after climbing the stone steps, designated as a prefectural natural monument. Many people visit to capture in their cameras the appearance of this large tree, about 20 m tall with a trunk circumference of about 3.5 m, blooming delicate, pale-colored flowers.
