Noshiro Park sits atop a small hill offering views of the Yoneshiro River, the Sea of Japan, and the Shirakami Mountains. About 400 cherry trees, mainly Somei-yoshino, bloom in the park, which is lively with families during the blossom season. Peak bloom is typically from mid to late April.
