Icho Park in Oirase Town, Aomori Prefecture, is a popular spot to enjoy the beauty of each season. The park features a replica of the Statue of Liberty (1/4 scale of the original in New York) and various cherry tree varieties including Somei Yoshino, double-petal cherry, mountain cherry, weeping cherry, and rare varieties like winter cherry and October cherry. Peak bloom is typically mid to late April.
