Nagatoro, a famous spot selected as one of 'Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots,' where you can enjoy about 3,000 various cherry trees. Highlights are abundant: Notoyama, the cherry tree tunnel, North Sakura Avenue, Ote cherry trees, Hodozan approach path and foothills, and more. Iwata Sakura light-up will be held from March 20 to early April; North Sakura Avenue light-up from late March to mid-April; the cherry tree tunnel opens from early April to late April, in line with the blooming period.
