An urban park covering a wide area with grass. The observation deck on the hill 234 meters above sea level is a superb spot where you can view the magnificent Sakurajima right across Kinko Bay, and on clear days you can see the distant Kirishima mountain range and Mt. Kaimon. There are 12 varieties of cherry trees; 15 Kawazu cherries reach their peak around mid-February, and other cherries bloom sequentially up to early April.
