Habu Park is a famous spot in Nakama City and the largest urban park in the city. Lots of nature with seasonal plants remain, and crossing the red bridge over the pond leads to the precincts of Habu Shrine. The 'Habu Rakan Hyakketsu (Prefectural Cultural Property)', a group of horizontal pit tombs from the Kofun period, is also located here. It is also a famous cherry blossom spot, and around late March, one of the city's three major festivals, the 'Chikuzen Nakama Sakura Festival', is held, bustling with hanami visitors. The plaza has a wide variety of play equipment, including a large composite playground with 'Nakappa Robo' as its main motif, where a wide range of ages can play.
