A colony of more than 30,000 fukujuso (Amur adonis) on a steep east-facing slope is a spectacular sight. Along with the fukujuso, the mushroom that appears in spring, Shirokitsune-no-sakazukimodoki, offers vivid and beautiful colors to enjoy. The Nanae Kosaka Fukujuso Festival will be held from Sunday, March 1 to Sunday, March 29, 2026. Potted fukujuso and local agricultural products and processed goods will be sold. A photo contest is also planned.
