Date Munenori, a long-lived daimyo who lived to 100 (official age). Under the name "Shunzan," he left many calligraphy works, and while he appeared to enjoy his retired life, there were twists and turns before he became domain lord. This exhibition displays materials related to Munenori's upbringing and his 100th birthday celebration, as well as materials that let you feel "spring."
