About 1,000 cherry trees including Somei Yoshino and double-flowered cherry blossoms bloom in full glory throughout the village, including at Yahiko Park and Yahiko Shrine Sakura-en. At Yahiko Park, which boasts an area of about 40,000 tsubo, you can encounter cherry blossom landscapes with different expressions every time you walk through the park, and you can leisurely enjoy strolling while being enveloped in the soft spring air. Various varieties with different blooming times are planted, so the best viewing period is about a month. Encountering different beauty depending on when you visit is also a charm unique to Yahiko.
