A traditional ceremony commemorating Confucius and his leading disciples, held for over 300 years since the founding of Taku Seibyou, and designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Saga Prefecture. During the ceremony, ritual officials and priests dressed in Chinese Ming-dynasty ceremonial attire offer seven types of food and sweet sake (amazake) while gagaku court music is performed.
