A traditional festival that has continued since the late Meiji era, following the discovery of hot springs in Meiji 16 (1883). The event features large Ningyoyama floats depicting Sengoku warlords and other figures, Taikoyama floats with thundering drum performances, and Hanayama flower floats where geisha perform lively festival music. Together with food stalls lining the streets, the festival delights all spectators.
