The popular Oigawa Railway event "DAY OUT WITH THOMAS(TM) 2026," featuring the steam locomotive Thomas the Tank Engine. This season the event period has been expanded, and for the first time since its start in 2014 it will run year-round. Enjoy a railway journey along the Oigawa with Thomas and his friends throughout the year, with cherry blossoms, fresh greenery, autumn leaves, and winter scenery offering a different look each visit. In addition, Percy, Thomas's best friend and a green tank engine, will be operated for the first time in Asia. Actual Percy train service begins on March 7, followed later by Thomas and Toby. The Thomas Fair at Shin-Kanaya Station will be updated from April under the theme of "making memories," with many participatory family activities such as a layered stamp rally, turntable demonstrations, and large photo panels.
