Iejigawa Park in Shimanto Town, Kochi Prefecture, is a nature-rich park along the Iejigawa River, a tributary of the Shimanto River, near JR Iejigawa Station. During full bloom, approximately 320 Yoshino cherry trees reflect on the quiet water surface of the Shimanto, creating a fantastical atmosphere. Every time the wind blows, cherry petals scatter and float on the water surface, like a painting. By crossing the Ieji River Dam, you can view the cherry blossom trees from the opposite bank and enjoy the beauty of the cherry blossoms from different angles. Ample parking space is provided to enjoy a leisurely cherry blossom viewing, making car access convenient.
