A special exhibition presenting all at once the 17 National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties handed down at Kitano Tenmangu Shrine — which enshrines Sugawara no Michizane — along with items associated with Tenjin faith throughout Japan. Among the cultural properties related to Sugawara no Michizane and Kitano Tenmangu Shrine, ancient divine treasures passed down at the shrine are displayed prominently, introducing the diverse aspects of Tenjin faith that were not widely known before, and the important role it has played in Japanese cultural history. Important Cultural Properties including the Koan, Mitsunori, and Mitsuoki versions are also displayed.
