Kai Iwama Station is a small unstaffed station on the JR Minobu Line. With a sign for the old town name "Hanko no Sato Rokugo" and splendid carp swimming in the nearby river... a peaceful place with many highlights. Right after getting off the train, you can see cherry blossoms blooming along the tracks. The station building colored by cherry blossoms, and the sight of trains passing through cherry blossoms—a spot photographers visit hoping to capture them.
