An ancient Tendai sect temple opened in 587. With the Eleven-faced Kannon as the principal deity, it is loved as a temple for warding off evil. Also famous as a scenic spot of the Prefectural Natural Park, the expressions of each season attract and captivate visitors. The spring scenery of about 100 Yoshino cherries blooming with the three-story pagoda as a backdrop is emotionally rich and beautiful.
