The Spring Annual Grand Festival of Uozu Shrine, held every year from June 4 to 6. During the period, traffic restrictions are in effect, and Chuo-dori Shopping Street where Uozu Shrine is located and part of the prefectural road (commonly known as 22m road) become pedestrian zones. More than 200 stalls line both sides of the road—the largest number in eastern Toyama—drawing many visitors from outside Uozu City as well as families and students.
