This year marks the 100th anniversary of the publication of Okamoto Kido's 'Aoseido Kidan' by Shunyodo in March 1926. Emi Sakate of 'Amagyokusha Woodblock Prints', based in Okayama, has created new woodblock prints based on the 12 stories of 'Aoseido Kidan'. These will be exhibited together with the museum's collection of 'Aoseido Kidan' books and handwritten manuscripts. Introducing the popular work 'Aoseido Kidan', which remains timeless even after 100 years, and a new 'world of Aoseido Kidan' through Sakate's perspective and sensibility.
