10月下旬から11月上旬にかけて、飛騨の里は一面の紅葉に包まれ、赤や黄色に色づく木々が茅葺民家の輪郭を彩る。また、10月上旬～11月上旬の期間の内、土日祝のみ夜間ライトアップが行われ、幻想的な風景を楽しむことができる。
