The Asagawa River is a class 2 river flowing through Mine City and Sanyo-Onoda City, where about 200 Yoshino cherry trees bloom in profusion in spring. The cherry-lined avenue along the river reflects on the water surface at full bloom, creating an atmospheric landscape. With its convenient location 5 minutes' walk from JR Mine Station, near Mine City Hall, and with a spacious parking lot, accessibility is one of its attractions. During the full bloom period, many people visit and the area becomes lively. [*As of February 2026, JR Mine Line is suspended due to disaster, and substitute buses are operating]
