"Rashomon" is a nationally designated natural monument in Niimi City, Okayama Prefecture. What was once an underground cavern (limestone cave) partially collapsed, leaving a huge limestone arch about 40 meters high. Rashomon Sakura Park is next to the "Rashomon" parking lot. With the arrival of spring, about 10 varieties and about 700 cherry trees beautifully bloom in profusion in the approximately 3-hectare park. From late March to late April every year, lighting is done so you can also enjoy night cherry blossoms.
