The annual port festival is held again this year. Features Awa Odori dance, fireworks, and food stalls. Additionally, fishing boats decorated with big-catch flags parade through Mizutoko Bay, a scenic spot in Kaiyo Town. The sight of several fishing boats parading simultaneously is magnificent and full of excitement. The sea parade accepts up to approximately 100 participants on a first-come, first-served basis (children in elementary school and below must be accompanied by a guardian). Participation is free.
