Yokote Park is beloved as a lush, relaxing green space for citizens. The park features a castle tower-style observation deck (Yokote Castle) offering panoramic views of Mt. Chokai and downtown Yokote. In spring, several thousand cherry trees including Somei-yoshino burst into full bloom, and the observation deck is illuminated during the 'Yokote Cherry Blossom Festival' held annually from mid to late April.
