A park developed around the trailhead of Mt. Saraga-mine. The park is also known to local residents for its 'Kazaana' (wind hole), a natural air conditioner from which a nearly constant wind blows year-round from a rocky cave. The cold air from the wind hole keeps temperatures low, causing the hydrangeas to bloom about one month later than at other spots.
