The annual festival of Tejikara-o Shrine, held every second Saturday of April. With over 300 years of history, it is designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Gifu Prefecture. Shirtless men carry portable shrines loaded with gunpowder amid deafening firecrackers and cascading sparks.
