A park near Etchu Nakagawa Station, located in the central city area of Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture. The castle ruins of Takaoka Castle, built by Maeda Toshinaga, the 2nd lord of the Kaga Maeda family, have been opened as a park since the Meiji period. It is currently known as a famous cherry blossom spot with about 1,800 cherry trees and is also selected as one of the '100 Famous Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan'. About 30% of the park area is water moats, and cherry blossoms reflected on the water surface are also beautiful.
