The approach of about 1.5km from National Route 368 to the gate of Shinpukuin Temple is a famous wild cherry spot also sung in mago-uta (packhorse drivers' songs). The cherry tree avenue is designated as a National Place of Scenic Beauty and selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Sites. Come visit to see the scenery of the avenue of old cherry trees and the sight of cherry blossoms beautifully reflected in the rice terraces.
