The Nanrakuen Azalea Festival, when approximately 32,000 azalea plants reach their peak bloom. The garden features Hirado azalea, Kirishima azalea, Kurume azalea, Dodan tsutsuji, and others, blooming in rich colors of pink, white, red, purple, and orange. On weekends during the festival period, locally produced hojicha and sencha tea are served, and tea ceremony experiences are also available. Concerts featuring guitar, Tsugaru shamisen, and electronic organ are also held at the Sato-no-Ie hall.
