Buttou Park is one of the best cherry blossom spots in the San'in region and has been selected as one of the 'Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots.' In spring, many varieties of cherry and azaleas bloom, bustling with tourists. The park also houses the Kurayoshi Museum, a small animal corner, as well as sumo rings, baseball fields, tennis courts, and a track and field stadium.
