An Edohigan cherry tree about 200 years old. The Nakagoe family, village headmen of Besshi Village (now Besshi, Niyodogawa Town) in Tosa Province, were said to have hosted the lord of Sakawa, Fukao, for rest, and it is said that the current head's grandfather, Nobuki Nakagoe, planted this tree at that spot. Its cascading form like a waterfall has an enchanting charm, attracting many tourists.
