Wakayama Castle Park, where about 450 cherry trees bloom, is a famous cherry blossom spot that Wakayama City takes pride in. During the period, about 100 bonbori lanterns and 400 paper lanterns are lit up, allowing visitors to enjoy hanami under night cherry blossoms illuminated by lights. During the cherry blossom festival period, 'Wakayama Castle – Corridor of Light' will also be held. A light-up imagining 'cherry blossoms' will be conducted.
