A handmade festival 'Cherry Blossom Festival & Shibazakura Festival' started by a couple who returned to Okawa Village. At the time they returned, there were not many cherry trees in the village. Over the course of 10 years, they cleared the back hill of their home and personally planted 100 cherry trees. Now it has become a paradise where 100 cherry trees and 60,000 moss phlox plants bloom. Every year, the festival is held during the period when the flowers bloom beautifully. On weekdays, Okawa Village specialty products are sold, and on weekends, events such as live performances and stalls are held.
