The Anoato Ruins spread across the areas of Anoato, Karasaki, Yayoi-cho, and others, where remains and artifacts from the Jomon period to the Edo period have been confirmed. In particular, attention is drawn to kofun (burial mounds) and large-walled buildings indicating the presence of people of continental origin, as well as the nationally designated historic site Anoato Haiji Ruins. ...
