The Arao Tidal Flat is a Ramsar Convention wetland in Ariake Sea, which has Japan's largest tidal range. Ride a 'Taylor'—a vehicle used in Ariake Sea fishing—across the Arao Tidal Flat at low tide. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and fresh sea breeze at a leisurely pace, and observe and interact with crabs, hermit crabs, and other creatures in the deeper waters. An activity unique to the sandy Arao Tidal Flat. Advance reservations required. (Reservations open from April 14) *Children in elementary school and below must be accompanied by a guardian.
