A Higan weeping cherry said to have been planted by Lord Wakisaka, the feudal lord of Iida Domain, to commemorate the construction of the Sentaibutsu Kannondo (Thousand Buddha Kannon Hall). Estimated to be 400 years old. Also designated as a natural monument of Iida City, many people look forward to the blooming of this weeping cherry. Every year, many camera users go to take photos in time with the full bloom. Its truly majestic appearance in full bloom is worth a look.
