On the approximately 840-meter walking path on the east embankment of the Kamogawa from Kitayama Ohashi Bridge to Kitaoji Bridge, 74 Yaebeni-shidare (double-flowered weeping pink) cherry trees and others are planted, becoming like a cherry blossom tunnel when in full bloom, attracting many flower viewers. On the opposite bank, mainly Somei Yoshino are planted, allowing different atmospheres to be enjoyed. Also, in the first week of April every year on Saturday and Sunday, 'Kamogawa Chamise' (hosted by the Society to Beautify Kamogawa and the Kyoto Kamogawa Lions Club) is held on Nakaragi no Michi.
