Teizo Suzuki, a ceramic artist living in Tsuyama City, studied Seto ware and Bizen ware, and after being captivated by the National Treasure 'Yohen Tenmoku', he now works on its production using his own techniques. The special exhibition displays works that evoke the image of the microcosm of Yohen Tenmoku, as well as Bizen ware works. In addition, a small special exhibition displays about 30 exquisite and elegant works, mainly by the young Toyo Kaneshige, who was praised for his outstanding talent in decorative pieces among the Bizen ware in the museum's collection.
