A famous cherry blossom spot selected as one of the 'Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots in Japan.' Many hanami visitors come from across the prefecture and beyond to enjoy the spectacular view of cherry blossoms in full bloom. The park has about 2,000 cherry trees, including Somei Yoshino and Sato-zakura, and the scenery of the blossoms with the vermilion Bentendo hall is particularly stunning. The best time to see the blossoms is usually from mid-March to mid-April.
