Hanatate Park boasts a superb location overlooking Kitago's rural landscape and far in the distance, Nichinan City and beyond, the Pacific Ocean. At 489 meters above sea level, Hanatate Park is also famous as a cherry blossom spot, with about 10,000 cherry trees including Yoshino and mountain cherries blooming magnificently across its spacious approximately 20-hectare grounds. With promenades, rest areas, and observation decks, many people visit to enjoy walking and feel the arrival of spring. Events will be held at Roadside Station Kitago on the 21st and 22nd.
