A large park where various types of plants are planted, including a rose garden and an almond grove, across its vast grounds. The cherry blossoms also change throughout the seasons, from Kawazu-zakura, which reaches its best viewing time from late February, to Okame, Yoko, and Somei Yoshino, allowing visitors to enjoy flowers for a long period. In particular, Somei Yoshino accounts for more than half of the approximately 1,100 cherry trees planted in the park, and while there are places where many trees are planted together, such as on the west and northeast sides of the large pond and near Ryokuchi-bashi Gate, there are also places where just a few trees are scattered here and there, making it fun to find your favorite cherry tree.
